The Johnson County Precinct 3 Sub-Courthouse in Alvarado provides service to the eastern portion of Johnson County. The County had outgrown their space nearby and acquired this site for a new building. The building contains a Tax Office, County Clerk Office, offices for the Judge and Constibule, records storage, and additional shell space for future expansion without adding on to the building.

The exterior of the building uses materials similar to neighboring buildings and the front porch welcomes visitors to a large lobby filled with natural light. The parking layout was maximized on the tight site to provide as much parking as possible, while still providing ample landscaping. The low maintenance facility should easily meet the County’s well into the future.
