The Hood County EOC is a new Emergency Operations Center for Hood County. It also houses the office of the County Sheriff. In order to receive federal grants, this project had to be substantially completed within 5 months of breaking ground. It was completed in 4 1/2 months because of the cooperation of the county, the city of Granbury, and the diligent work of the contractor, Modern Contractors.

The 9,000 s.f. building contains an EOC room with state of the art equipment, 2 conference rooms, a radio room, tower, offices, Sheriff offices, and a server room for the county.
