The existing jail, police, and city hall complex surrounding the existing fire station were demolished and relocated to a new site because they could not be salvaged. An existing warehouse and office building nearby was purchased and remodeled to house the new city hall complex, police station, and city jail.

Magee Architects worked very closely with city leaders to fit all of the required and desired functions into the existing building.

To save costs, the City Hall, Police Station, Jail, and the Fire Station were constructed simultaneously in 2012.
