Magee Architects' design and project management philosophy is very simple: provide the client quality building design and great service through strong team dynamics. Our reputation for quality design and remarkable service to our clients has been established through commissions over the past 40+ years.
Good communication and teamwork are essential in all phases of the project. Attention to design detail and client needs have been the key to repeat commissions and the success of our firm. Our in-house staff will provide the following services: architectural design, programming, contract documents, construction administration, and interior design.
Quality Design
Quality design takes more into account than just physical beauty. Our design history demonstrates our ability to incorporate quality design into buildings that are secure, efficient, long lasting, technologically up to date, and adaptable to future expansion needs.
Environment
Understanding the environment is a critical factor when designing a building. The surrounding environment, for example, influences design decisions such as the solar orientation of the building, the location of the building on the site, and the traffic patterns onto and around the building’s site. Magee Architects relates the form and plan of the design to the site, the region, and the climate. The goal is to produce a form that enhances the site.
Energy
Magee Architects understands that the cost of a building is not just the cost of construction but also the cost of maintenance and utilities over the life of the building. That’s why we design the building to minimize the cost of ownership and to minimize the building’s impact on the environment over the building’s life span. Many measures are taken to ensure that the building’s use of energy is minimal by incorporating state-of-the-art cooling, heating, lighting and control systems that conserve or eliminate energy use.
