Mansfield, Texas
The City Hall was built to complete the master plan for the city’s thirteen acre municipal campus. The City Hall defines the north edge of the public lawn and brings a strong sense of formality to the overall campus.
The formal design of the City Hall is suited to the civic nature of the building. At the same time, the design incorporates similar materials and building elements as the other two buildings on the site in order to maintain the overall unity of the campus design. The two-story entry rotunda is detailed in granite and wood and provides the entire building with a grand public presence.
The City Hall features a central council chamber, city administrative offices, and contains approximately 3500 SF of unfinished office space on the second floor for future expansion.
The building was completed in the fall of 2002.
