Situated near the historic downtown of Burleson, The Burleson Public Library is a great resource of information and learning for the community. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a large central space rising up to a cupola filling the entrance with natural light. The children's area and study rooms are located along the sides of the building with large windows shaded from the sun. The reading area, located opposite the entrance, benefits from a large expansive glass wall along the rear of the building that overlooks a canopy of existing trees.
In addition to the book stacks and study tables, the 16,000 s,f, facility contains a large meeting room, a children's area with a "story time" stage and "bird house" reading nooks, a computer room, study rooms, a reading area, and a large staff area.
