The Oakridge School's Early Childhood Center has a highly respected preschool and kindergarten program. Magee Architects was hired to add a new kindergarten wing onto the existing school.
The new building, connected by a covered breezeway, contains 4 classrooms and a multi-purpose classroom. Each of the classrooms contain a recessed area for story time and are equipped with state-of-the-art electronic equipment and markerboards with interactive projectors. The classrooms have large windows looking out to either the heavily wooded flood plain or the new courtyard created from the space between the new and existing buildings.
Made possible by a generous donation from the Quinn Family, The Quinn Family Center will provide a great place for kindergarteners to learn and play as they prepare for the next phase of their lives.
