Crowley, Texas
The Crowley Justice Center contains three main functions. It serves as the city’s police station, records department, and city jail.
The police department houses offices for the police chief and detectives, as well as, an indoor and outdoor property and evidence storage room, an Emergency Operations Center, holding and interview rooms. The jail portion contains 6 cells, a holding cell, 911 dispatch, and a drive-through enclosed sally port. Separate public entrances for the jail and police help to provide security for the public.
The new building is located on a site that also includes a Fire Station and city Library which provides a municipal campus setting. All three buildings were planned and designed by Magee Architects.
The project was completed in the winter of 2008.
